Caring for your Pieces

Red Gum timber is incredibily versatile, strong and long lasting, requiring quite low maintenance.

We suggest you simply wipe products with a cloth dipped in warm water. Detergent will do no harm however it is usually not required.

Avoid placing products in the dishwasher or soaking it in water.

For salt / pepper grinders we recommend when refilling, to wipe a touch of vegetable oil over the wood shaft of the top mechanism (cap) to enable smoother sliding.

Should you live in a high humidity area, salt might congest the grinding mechanism therefore it is recommended to only fill the cavity half way to be able to shake before every use.
